This is more of a cool clock than a weather station. But I must emphasize on the COOL part of that sentence!
I love it because it is such a simple design, yet so classy, cool, and timeless. Crystal lit icons for the weather are very nice looking. However, since the light comes from underneath, the light will follow through on to your ceiling and light up most of the room.
Simple features with the motion sensor to toggle between time and indoor temp (to the 0.1th degree).
But another cool feature that I have not seen listed anywhere is that there is an environment light sensor that will dim the clock display in a dark room, and light it up more in a well lit room to maximise visibility!
At the end of the day, this clock is a real gimick and isn't going to be the best weather station out there. However, it takes the cake for the coolest looking bedside clock I've ever seen!
Last thing is in regards to the "radio" reception. I am located in Queensland, Australia, and I get 1 bar (out of 3) in terms of signal strength. I have no idea what "signal" I'm actually getting, and whether this has anything to do with the weather forecast. But I've got the clock near a window, in the upper storey of my house. So I can't see it getting any signal from inside an office building. |
