These are not waterproof, however they are splash proof. They are highly recommended for leisure use.

Unfortunately the PMR446 radios are not licensed for use in the USA.

Hi, please would you let me know if the recharger adaptor supports both 110 & 240V? If not, would the unit run on ordinary batteries?
Yes the recharger adaptor supports both 110 & 240v. You can use ordinary batteries. Obviously it only recharges, rechargeable batteries, but standard ones work fine.
