We have tested a number of walkie talkie watch two way radios over the years, and this is the first model that we have tested that has anything like the range of a regular hand-held radio. It is claimed to be 3km in ideal conditions, in reality 1-2km will be achieved, however it has a full set of funtions and and works very well.
