Motorcycle Handsfree Open Face VOX Activated

This set can be used as a VOX handsfree system on a motorcycle with mobile phones that have auto-answer capability. For mobile phones that don't have a 2.5mm connection, we have a range of base adapters in the Base Adapters section of Mobile Accessories that will then convert your phone to 2.5mm. The unit will also work with any PMR446 walkie talkie radio that can accept this type of connection.

Please note, in order to use this kit with a Cobra PMR446 walkie talkie radio, you also need to purchase a MICVOX, available on the Cobra Accessories page. This converts the 2.5mm jack plug to the two pronged connector that Cobra use.

This kit is specifically designed for use with an OPEN FACE helmet and is supplied with a boom microphone.

This is the recommended kit for handsfree communication from a motorbike as it does not require the use of a PTT button and is completely voice activated.
