Play Hard, Record Everything!
The ATC-2000 Extreme Cam is a digital video camera that enables the user to capture video clips of their sports activities, including skiing, snowboarding, cycling, mountain biking and any other active sport.
After capturing footage, you can replay the video clips on a television, or edit the movie on computer and share the video clips with friends through an internet connection. You can also save the footage back to the console for transport and the ATC2K works seamlessly with most video editing software
The ATC-2K is a video camera only, it is not possible to take still photos.
The ATC2000 will record varying amounts of footage, depending upon the memory card size and quality of video. For example, at 30 frames per second at 640x480, the camera will record 60 minutes of footage to the card. If however you reduce the quality of the recording and use 15 frames per second, it is possible to record up to 794 minutes of footage.
Please note that the ATC-2000 requires a high speed branded Secure Digital card for external storage. Please see our associated products below for details on the cards that we provide.

Yes we ship anywhere in the EU, and shipping is calculated at checkout before you pay for the goods.

The version we are selling is the PAL version.
also
can you tell me how waterproof it is?
could it handle surf landing on it and a temporary submerge to less than a metre?
It should be able to handle this type of use, and it can be submerged for a short period of time. Please ensure that the camera is sealed tight with the O rings as this is the waterproof seal.
Whats the difference between this product and the Tony Hawks helmet cam? Why should I buy this one?
The ATC2000 has a number of beneficial features, however is at roughly the same price point. The main ones are:
It will record at 640x480 at 30 frames per second, as opposed to 320 x 240 at 15 frames per second, this means the resolution and quality are higher.
The ATC2000 is also waterproof, so if you end up in the snow, or a puddle or small river, it will survive intact.
That said, the Tony Hawks is slightly smaller and lighter, so the decision will need to be based upon your requirements for use.
Is it possible to power this camera with a 12v adaptor for permenent motorcycle fitment?
We do not believe so, it is battery power only.
I will be using this on a motorcycle helmet. Upto what speeds could it safely be used? (ie. without the risk of it coming off at high speeds).
It will depend on how well it is affixed to the helmet or handlebars, and we do not have data that suggests a maximum speed has been run. We do know that some motorsport companies have used the camera on cars on circuits without any issues, however we would recommend that the unit be secured and braced to ensure that it does not come off and cause injury.
Does this work with Windows Vista?
Windows Vista does not contain the code to support .AVI (ATC-2K video
format). The video will only have image but no audio.
In order to play the video with audio in Windows Vista, users would have to
download the Media Player Classic and play the video with the program for
immediate fix.
Here is the link:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/guliverkli/mpc2kxp6490.7z?download
The file would have to be extracted. Alternatively use an alternative media player...
Whould it be possible to link this unit to a GPS mobile phone for "live" delivery of footage ?
We dont think so, it records to the SD card and cant see a way to connect it to a phone... This will appear in our FAQ pages, so if anyone else reading this has experience of doing this please email it to sales@bb-shopping.com and we will publish the information.
does this record colour images
Yes it captures full colour movies.
will the camera support a larger memory card ie: 4gb
32MB internal memory (NAND flash)
SD memory card support up to 2GB
I saw that the water resistence is up to 3 metres, I am looking to use this for snorkeling and wondered will it be able to handle submersion and also will salt water have any adverse effects on it?
Yes it will be fine for this purpose.
Hi, can you tell me how many mega pixels the camera is, and is there any chance of seeing some video examples from the action cam.
Its not normal practice to rate a video camera in megapixes. The maximum resolution is 640x480 at 30 frames per second. You can see footage on youtube, www.youtube.com and search for ATC2000 or ATC-2000.
Is it possible to "loop"-record? I.o.w. continous recording and overvrite old record as a surveillance cam?
Sorry we do not think this is possible. You can drop the resolution and frame rate to increase recording capacity if that helps?
Hi, Can you tell me if this camera can record sound too, if it doesn't do you have another similar item as compact as this one that does please. Thanks
Yes this camera will record sound. The sound is not perfect as the camera is waterproof, however for improved sound also please look at the ATC5K camera. Search for ATC5K in the search bar.

This is more of a cool clock than a weather station. But I must emphasize on the COOL part of that sentence!
I love it because it is such a simple design, yet so classy, cool, and timeless. Crystal lit icons for the weather are very nice looking. However, since the light comes from underneath, the light will follow through on to your ceiling and light up most of the room.
Simple features with the motion sensor to toggle between time and indoor temp (to the 0.1th degree).
But another cool feature that I have not seen listed anywhere is that there is an environment light sensor that will dim the clock display in a dark room, and light it up more in a well lit room to maximise visibility!
At the end of the day, this clock is a real gimick and isn't going to be the best weather station out there. However, it takes the cake for the coolest looking bedside clock I've ever seen!
Last thing is in regards to the "radio" reception. I am located in Queensland, Australia, and I get 1 bar (out of 3) in terms of signal strength. I have no idea what "signal" I'm actually getting, and whether this has anything to do with the weather forecast. But I've got the clock near a window, in the upper storey of my house. So I can't see it getting any signal from inside an office building.
