Parrot CK3500 Bluetooth Advanced Car Kit with GPS Receiver

With Fleet Management & Bluetooth SAP capabilites, the CK3500 adds additional functionality to the Parrot CK3300.

The CK3300 allows the PDA or Smart Phone to access NMEA-0183 standard GPS data via Bluetooth . Most popular navigation software providers such as TomTom, WayFinder, or Navigon can provide the software for your device to make use of this GPS data.

When using the Parrot CK3300, you no longer need to connect your PDA / Smart Phone to an external receiver, or invest into expensive on-board equipment. Only a dashboard mounting for the PDA or Smartphone is required as additional device. Additional GPS monitoring messages such as number of satellites active or detected, geographical coordinates, speed, and heading can also be displayed on the screen.

The Parrot CK3500 accesses your SIM card remotely via Bluetooth wireless technology, using the latest Bluetooth SAP protocol (Sim Access Profile). Contacts are then downloaded from a compatible mobile phone using Bluetooth SAP technology. The CK3500 has a separate LCD display with integrated scroll wheel that offers convenient call and message handling. Once the Parrot CK3500 has been paired with your compatible mobile phone, its activated each time you turn on your cars ignition.

Advanced Fleet Management Capabilities

The CK3500 is compatible with the OnStar service and can implement fleet management and professional applications. With the GSM/ GPRS + GPS module, the CK3500 works in a generic mode that enables the cutomisation and and the development of numerous services. With the CK3500, it is possible to upload data such as positionning or fuel consumption, to a server. A fleet manager can then get a view of the fleet. It is also possible to implement antitheft systems with localisation and immobilization of the vehicle.

Using the drivers optional SIM card, the vehicle can exchange data with a server over a cellular network. Customer adaptable in-vehicle Java programs (carlets) can be loaded from the CK3500 SD Card Connector and interact over IP network with a back-end support infrastructure on a server. This built-in option opens way to workable diagnostics, security, messaging, and other environment-aware services that can be tailored to fleet operators needs.
