Can i use the Pama Police style headset - part no MICEPM100 with the MT 525 radios ?
Yes this will work just fine.

If you do a search for MHS-400, these kits will work with the MT525.
Can four of these radios all communicate with each other? Can you lock the channels?
Yes they can, any PMR446 radio can communicate with another PMR446 radio if on the same channel and sub channel.
Hi! We would want ten of these all communicating with each other. Are the batteries Li-poly, ones that do not suffer from battery memory? Do the base stations have a charger built in, or do you need to plug the charger into the radio jack plug? We need a battery life of a 3 hour minimum, and a belt clip, and reasonably splashproof, and we thank you for your help and advice, James
I would probably recommend something like the Cobra MT800, this should meet your requirements. Link available below;
