Q: Is the online payment process secure?
When you type your credit card number into the Securetrading screen, your web browser is in secure mode. Your browser will encode what you type and our server will decode it. We use 'Secure Socket Layer' which all trading web sites use. A padlock will appear on the bottom of the screen when in secure mode.
As a UK resident, Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 protects you when using a UK-issued card for a transaction over £100. In the event of any fraud trade through a trader, the credit card company is equally liable for the debt, and they are legally obliged to refund you if an unauthorised charge is made to your card.
